AGH numerical weather forecast service launched!
The forecasts are generated using the WRF open-source forecasting system, with initial and boundary conditions provided by the U.S. National Weather Service (NOAA) based on the results of global weather forecasts produced with GFS.
The forecasts are calculated once a day and cover a 48-hour period. We publish temperature, pressure, wind, cloud cover, and precipitation maps, as well as meteograms for Polish provincial capitals and selected locations related to the research activities of the AGH Environmental Physics Group.
The forecast results, along with comments, are presented at meteo.fis.agh.edu.pl.
